Founded by ex-Attarine executive Chef Jacob Burrell and his wife, Parachute ( Jl.SubakSari13No.8-4, Ti bu ben eng, North Ku ta, Bali ;+62 81337423010;parachutebali.com) is a wood fire based restaurant offering western food with a “respect and understanding for local flavors.” Many of the dishes on the menu are sourced from local farmers and artisanal fishermen. Accordingly, the menu reflects the laid-back nature of the venue’s setting. While the place has Scallion Butter and wood-fired fish, chicken, pork, beef and duck, half of the menu is actually vegetarian. Parachute also features a variety of wood-fired bread and light deserts based around local ingredients.
