Lo­cated at the front of the Grand­mas Plus Ho­tel Seminyak, the Miura Pintxos Bar and Grill is Bali’s first Basque diner. Here, Chef Ta­u­fan Ra­hamd­hai and his team in­te­grate Span­ish and Euro­peanin­spired dishes with Asian favourites and flavours. With a typ­i­cal laid- back Basque vibe, the restau­rant fea­tures an al­fresco setup housed in a two- level ro­tunda, with the airy top ter­race over­look­ing the street and the ho­tel’s pool.

It is a large menu and house spe­cial­i­ties in­clude Span­ish Drunken Chicken, Crispy Cala­mari and Pintxos, snack food orig­i­nat­ing from the bars of San Se­bas­tian, Bil­bao and the wider Basque re­gion. The range in­cludes Eguski (Rus­sian salad with tuna, egg, chilli con­fit and olives), Gabarra (egg cro­quette with a dab of tomato sam­bal) Kaixo (Iberico cured sausage pasta with honey and thyme) and Tx­er­ritxu (smoth­ered pig’s ear and caramelised onions). What­ever you choose, you can wash it down with a cold beer, Cha­coli sparkling white or one of the best san­grias in Bali.
