Take a peek at the glitz and glam from Ex­quis­ite Me­dia's An­nual Ap­pre­ci­a­tion Night, where a three-course, wine-paired gourmet din­ner party was held at the daz­zling Grand Ball­room of The Westin Jakarta.

On 9th Oc­to­ber, eight of the best chefs in Ubud came to­gether for the Ubud Col­lab­o­ra­tive Chefs 2016 Char­ity Lunch at Cas­Cades Restau­rant of the Viceroy Bali. Each was in charge of pre­par­ing one course for a sold-out highly an­tic­i­pated midday af­fair. The Bali Chil­dren's Project was the re­cip­i­ent of the raised funds, to­tal­ing IDR64,000,000. With the help of the fol­low­ing chefs: Ray Adri­an­syah of Locavore Ubud, Mau­r­izio Bom­bini of Kubu Restau­rant at Man­dapa, a RitzCarl­ton Re­serve, Nic Van­der­beeken of Cas­Cades Restau­rant, James Ephraim of Mozaic Restau­rant Ubud, Crys­tal Chiu for Room4Dessert Ubud, Cris­tian Encina of PICA South Amer­i­can Kitchen, Mandif Warokka of Blanco Par Mandif, Made Lu­gra of Wi­jaya Kusuma Restau­rant at Ayung Re­sort - from left to right in the photo. Guests were served a lavish meal com­pris­ing cod ravi­oli with smoked ri­cotta and tomato con­sommé, a Bel­gian-in­spired eel dish, as well as a mod­ern Ba­li­nese suck­ling pork dish, just to name a few.

The funds raised dur­ing the event will go to Ba­li­nese chil­dren in Ubud and the sur­round­ing area to help pay for their school tu­ition and sup­plies. For more in­for­ma­tion, visit the Bali Chil­dren's Project web­site listed be­low.
