Take a peek at the glitz and glam from Exquisite Media's Annual Appreciation Night, where a three-course, wine-paired gourmet dinner party was held at the dazzling Grand Ballroom of The Westin Jakarta.
On 9th October, eight of the best chefs in Ubud came together for the Ubud Collaborative Chefs 2016 Charity Lunch at CasCades Restaurant of the Viceroy Bali. Each was in charge of preparing one course for a sold-out highly anticipated midday affair. The Bali Children's Project was the recipient of the raised funds, totaling IDR64,000,000. With the help of the following chefs: Ray Adriansyah of Locavore Ubud, Maurizio Bombini of Kubu Restaurant at Mandapa, a RitzCarlton Reserve, Nic Vanderbeeken of CasCades Restaurant, James Ephraim of Mozaic Restaurant Ubud, Crystal Chiu for Room4Dessert Ubud, Cristian Encina of PICA South American Kitchen, Mandif Warokka of Blanco Par Mandif, Made Lugra of Wijaya Kusuma Restaurant at Ayung Resort - from left to right in the photo. Guests were served a lavish meal comprising cod ravioli with smoked ricotta and tomato consommé, a Belgian-inspired eel dish, as well as a modern Balinese suckling pork dish, just to name a few.
The funds raised during the event will go to Balinese children in Ubud and the surrounding area to help pay for their school tuition and supplies. For more information, visit the Bali Children's Project website listed below.
