Here at Exquisite Media, we take our food very seriously, appreciating every single element that goes into all those delectable dishes. However, even the most exotic ingredients and the most meticulous cooking techniques don’t matter without the creative minds and magic hands of the chefs.

In this edition of Exquisite Taste, we pay homage to our favourite chefs across Jakarta, Surabaya, Bali, Singapore and Hong Kong in the Cover Story pages. We take a look at their journeys – from sometimes humble beginnings to becoming the most respected names in the culinary scene. We also give a preview of what their prized dishes are like, so prepare your appetite.

In the spirit of getting familiar with these culinary wizards, we get Up Close and Personal with chefs Hugo Bertolini from Grand Hyatt Jakarta, Reynaldo DELUNA II from The Seminyak Beach Resort & Spa, Ashley Garvey from Starfish Bloo at W Bali – Seminyak and Leong Chee Yeng from Jade restaurant at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore. We also meet up with the great culinary professionals Behind The Scenes, from the F&B director of The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place to his counterpart at The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua, Bali.
