Resplendent in the grandeur of old New York, Manhattan at Regent Singapore, A Four Seasons Hotel brings its visitors back through time to the Golden Age of cocktails with its delightful twists on classic libations and a spread of captivating artisanal bar bites.

An exquisite set of modern glass doors greets visitors to the stunning Manhattan bar. A mix of polished hardwood boards, luxurious rugs and slabs of handsomely patterned marble flooring stretch inwards towards the heart of Manhattan – wall-to-wall cabinets brimming with artisanal spirits sourced from all corners of the world that sit behind an elegant marble bar.

Manhattan offers the world’s first inhotel Rickhouse, which allows the bar to finish spirits and age bitters and cocktails in American oak barrels sourced from a Minnesota cooperage. The Rickhouse offers guests seasonal selections of its finest oakdriven curations.

For guests who are keen to get hands-on, Manhattan offers an exclusive Barrelling Programme in which they can fill a barrel with their choice of spirit. When the barrelaging process is done, guests will be invited again to experience the bottling first hand. Guests will be able to learn the finer points of mixing cocktails with the barrel-aged spirit from Manhattan’s acclaimed mixologists.

As part of the programme, guests are welcome to inspect Manhattan’s singular Ingredients Room, which showcases a collection of exotic rare botanicals such as shisandra berries and wild cherry bark, as well as a collection of infused spirits. An archive of classic recipes of a bygone time also serves to rekindle Manhattan’s bartenders’ inspirations to craft exciting new drinks. A tasting of various aged Negronis and a bottling session concludes the comprehensive tour.

Manhattan’s beverage menu showcases 25 seasonal cocktails that pay homage to the

rich history, diverse culture and intoxicating flavours of Manhattan’s rambunctious neighbourhoods such as Harlem, the Hell’s Kitchen or Lower East Side.

To complement its dazzling cocktails and spirits, Manhattan provides an inspired food menu centred on artisanal ingredients and contemporary renditions of classic

New York gastronomy. The Citrusy Shrimp Ceviche Tacos are a beautifully light bite to share, topped with the wonderful Bloody Mary cocktail sauce, which gives them a nice umami kick. Bar patrons looking for something more upscale can try the Maine Lobster Roll – chunks of firm fresh lobster wholly wrapping a refreshing crab salad. Guests craving something sweet and decadent can indulge in The Big Apple Cheesecake, a scrumptious rum-infused medley of moist vanilla sable with rich lashings of apple mouse.

Guests looking to hold their intimate private gatherings with their loved ones can pick from three exclusive spaces tucked away in Manhattan. The Library is a cosy space featuring regal dark timber panelling, handsome wingback chairs and lush green Italian accents. With a capacity for seven guests, the Library is suitable for private discussions. The Private Salon is an exquisite space comfortably accommodating 10 individuals. With comfy Italian plum sofas, upholstered American leather seats and warm intimate illumination, the Private Salon is a perfect venue for casual gatherings. For private celebrations of up to 16 individuals, the luxurious Rockerfeller Room is a perfect venue. Discreetly hidden behind a “secret” door, the lavish space is tastefully furnished with ornate silver blue walls, plush steelblue suede saloon sofas and finely wrought modern table pieces.
