EXECUTIVE CHEF AT SHERATON SURABAYA HOTEL & TOWERS

Exquisite Taste - - Surabaya -

Amid the hustle and bustle of Sheraton Surabaya Hotel’s kitchens, Executive Chef Steve Bhakti Tanudharma is an oasis of serenity, calmly in control of his domain. Frantic chefs and staff move with well-trained efficacy, not a single movement wasted. Outside the kitchens, waiters serve guests course upon course of delicacies with impeccable service.

Chef Tanudharma began his training as a chef at the NHI Tourism Academy Bandung. As a passionate young chef keen on expanding his culinary horizons, he travelled throughout Asia and the Middle East, picking up valuable experience and inspirations. Along the way, he has worked in illustrious five-star hotels in Vietnam, Oman, the United Arab Emirates and Dubai, before being lured back to Indonesia to head the kitchens of Sheraton Surabaya. The host of awards that Chef Tanudharma’s kitchen has won throughout his career is a testament to his immaculate and perfectionist nature as a chef.

An accomplished chef with a breadth of enviable skills, Chef Tanudharma prefers taking the backseat rather than the limelight.
