FAIR OF THE FARE
Food and beverage aficionados should keep their eyes open for the first-ever Speciality & Fine Food Asia (SFFA) festival in Singapore. The festival gained popularity in the UK before expanding to Asia, and will be held at the Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre from 18th to 20th July. SFFA Singapore will see amazing gourmet, artisan producers and brands from across the world, including the UK, Taiwan and beyond.
The culinary fair will be held alongside the Restaurant, Pub & Bar Asia festival, and incorporate Speciality Chocolate Asia – the region’s only trade event dedicated to the booming demand for premium artisan and gourmet chocolate. Chocolate lovers should prepare themselves for the latter, because there will be artisan chocolatiers from Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia, among others.
Guests can expect Singapore’s cult favourite artisan brands like Shermay’s Fine Foods, Straits Preserves and Ette Tea, or even younger brands like Coco Loco, Hook Coffee and We Are
Cultured to make an appearance at the fair. There will also be fun programmes like Fine Food Live, where guests can watch inspiring top chefs performing cooking demos, and Start-Up Village, where 30 on-the-rise artisan food producers will showcase and introduce their products. Topping it all off is SFFA’s partnership with The Great Taste Awards, the world-renowned benchmark for the world’s best food and drink organised by the Guild of Fine Food.
