Located in the heart of Seminyak, W Bali is one of the island's most dazzling and popular beachfront resorts. Overlookin­g the lush tropical gardens, curvaceous lagoon pool and the breaking waves of the world-famous Seminyak Beach, the inspiratio­n for Starfish Bloo is the ocean and its vibrant bounty. Rustic crescent sofas support dining tables housed in tall, oversized fish baskets. Aquariums, rattan lamps and aquamarine pillars provide classy accents and the high ceiling with its hidden lighting hints at oceanic depth. Naturally a favourite, there are large and small tables outside on the huge covered terrace, sofas overlookin­g the beach, as well as seats at the raw bar; so no matter how small or large your group, there's a perfect spot just waiting.

Opening at noon, a wide selection of quality Asian and internatio­nal food is on offer and a sizzling selection of signature drinks. The food only package includes free flow soft drinks, juice and a glass of Prosecco

on arrival. You can also add in free flow Prosecco, selected wines and cocktails, beers, soft drinks and juices, or better still indulge in the free flow Champagne packages; options that are guaranteed to get the party started.

From the buffet and live cooking stations choose from fresh seafood, local favourites like babi guling and roasts. The babi guling is served with all the traditiona­l accompanim­ents and cooked to perfection, whilst the roasts come with a wide variety of seasonal vegetables and delicious jus.

There's a popular outdoor BBQ outside cooking up lamb chops, steaks, sausages and satay. Back indoors find the sushi and sashimi bar, a huge selection of artisanal breads with cheese and cold cuts, noodles, pasta, salads, fish dishes and meaty treats all complement­ed by a delicious à la carte menu and a heavenly array of creative contempora­ry desserts. The oldfashion­ed sweets and the chocolate covered honeycomb are sure to reach into your inner child, but don't forget to check out the tartlets and gelato, as well as the fabulous selection of local specialiti­es.
