Tak­ing full ad­van­tage of its rooftop lo­ca­tion and the gen­tle breezes, Above Eleven is a stylish venue of­fer­ing a sky bar, DJs and de­li­cious Peru­vian-Ja­panese Nikkei cui­sine from 4pm to 1am daily.

A buzzing launch party on 1st Septem­ber saw the crowds flock to dis­cover this new hap­pen­ing place. The drinks flowed freely with a good choice of cock­tails, wines and other re­fresh­ing li­ba­tions be­ing passed around, while colour­ful and tasty canapés tempted palates around the room.

The happy guests were thrilled to try the ro­bust Nikkei flavours un­usual to Bali's gourmet scene. Chef Renzo Vac­chelli, who has worked in kitchens in Peru, Ger­many and Lon­don, pulled out all the stops as he brought his na­tive ex­per­tise to Above Eleven Bali for an au­then­tic and un­for­get­table ex­pe­ri­ence. Chef Renzo's menu con­sists of tra­di­tional Peru­vian clas­sics, in­clud­ing a va­ri­ety of ce­biches (fresh raw seafood mar­i­nated in red chilli Leche De Ti­gre, a cit­rus-based Peru­vian mari­nade), tira­di­tos (Peru­vianstyle sashimi), and much more. For more ad­ven­tur­ous pal­ettes, chef rec­om­mends dishes such as mar­i­nated beef heart with Peru­vian sauces and oc­to­pus tira­dito, among oth­ers.
