The glamorous seaside restaurant is popular with Bali's residents, as well as its tourists, who flock there from the moment it opens to indulge in the delectable food, excellent drinks, sea breeze and live music. The extensive buffet and its live stations are the result of Chef Ashley Garvey's years of expertise, including in Michelin-starred restaurants, which meld modern Asian flavours with the finest local ingredients, making it renowned for its mountain of fresh seafood on ice, glistening sushi and sashimi, roasts, curries, dim sum, fresh salads, the W donut wall and much more, including the popular live BBQ loaded with steaks, seafood and Jimbaran-style grilled fish.
The culinary delights are accompanied by a selection of non-alcoholic beverages, fresh juices and smoothies, while an optional beverage package is available that includes free-flowing red, white and sparkling wine, cocktails and local beer. Starfish Bloo has plenty of seating options, with the most popular being the chairs and tables on the beachside deck sheltered from the direct sun by a canopy, as well as the oversized lobster pot-styled booths.
