Delve into the latest happenings in the culinary scene with the most innovative F&B openings, inspired new menus and the most talked about culinary events.

With an enviable location directly alongside Seminyak Beach and boasting glorious views, a fresh ocean breeze and the constant sound of rolling waves, Sanje Restaurant at The Seminyak Beach Resort is a laidback venue. With its weathered wood and vibrant turquoise colour theme, this is an idyllic place for both hotel guests and those who wander in directly from the beach or the bustling street outside. Chef Joshua Job has been updating the menus of this Mediterranean-styled restaurant, including preparing a new breakfast menu that is both health orientated and delicious for everyone who wants to start their day in a pictureperfect beach setting. After breakfast, diners will be able to indulge in vibrant, produce-driven creations inspired by Sicily, Greece and Spain, house-made pastas, as well as fresh seafood from the charcoal barbecue, among other delights. New additions include pan-seared snapper fillet with Spanish potatoes, bouillabaisse, local clams and saffron rouille; Chef Josh's own “My Gnocchi” with tomato, white wine and basil; river prawns with ajo blanco, tomato and sherry gel; local burrata with “parma” ham, wild rocket, fried capers and polenta crisps, and tuna tartare with salt and pepper tuille and pickled vegetables. There is, of course, a large choice of drinks and a shot of Josh's wicked limoncello is given to diners at the end of dinner.
