Five-Star Pleasure - - PUBLISHER’S NOTE -

East Surabaya’s only City Resort

Bumi Surabaya City Resort offers the best of both worlds, whether you are in town for business or pleasure. Despite being one of the best business hotels in the region, it is ideal for relaxing with family and friends. It has the comforts and luxurious touches of a resort, and all the facilities of a business hotel. Who said business can’t be a pleasure?

THE GARDENS: Luxury is not only about the buildings and interiors, but also involves the surroundings. Bumi Surabaya City Resort has shown that they understand this with their luxuriously verdant gardens, creating a welcoming oasis where guests can escape and commune with nature. The building itself seems to float on a sea of greenery in the heart of Surabaya, and offers an explosion of intense greens and a rainbow of tropical colours, casting a spell on visitors, who will find themselves lost in its intense beauty. The gardens were designed by famous landscape architect Made Wijaya, who has succeeded in creating an oasis where guests can feel like they have discovered a private Eden.

THE FOOD: The hotel’s stable of fine restaurants is one of its biggest draws. Siti Inggil’s unique dining concept recreates the mood of a traditional Indonesian night market in an informal courtyard setting. A variety of local speciality dishes are served direct from food stalls and wooden Javanese carriages positioned around the garden. Japanese food lovers will not want to miss Kizahashi Restaurant, while at Cascade guests can savour delicious pasta and pizza from the wood fire oven in a semi-outdoor setting – it is also the place to indulge in very popular Hot Stone Steak, a unique dining concept that involves cooking fresh meat on serpentine slabs of volcanic stone, sealing in the natural juices for an explosion of flavour. The Lobby Lounge serves Bumi Surabaya City Resort’s famous serabi, a kind of Indonesian pancake that is so famous that ii is often brought in for events as far away as Bali or Jakarta.

BUSINESS & EVENTS: When every detail must be perfect, you can count on the advanced facilities and expert professionals of the Bumi Surabaya City Resort to deliver a productive and successful outcome. The hotel has a choice of meeting and event venues including the Isyana Ballroom, which can accommodate up to 1,000 persons standing, and another 700 persons in the adjoining Isyana Room. There are also a number of meeting rooms to choose from. For a premium meeting or private event, Primavera is the place to choose, while The TaVern is where to have your social event or gathering. Whether you are arranging a small business meeting or a fairy-tale wedding, the Bumi Surabaya City Resort will help bring your vision to extraordinary reality.
