Element Art Space

Harper's Bazaar Art (Indonesia) - - Exhibition Highlight - Lugas Syllabus

Founded by Indonesian Aniela Rahardja, Element Art Space has been the artistic point of convergence between Southeast Asia’s most talented and most diverse artists. Since 2009 it has grown under the tutelage of Singapore’s renown photographer, Chua Soo Bin, and in fact the gallery original name was S.bin Art Plus before settling on its current name. For Bazaar Art Jakarta this year, their artworks are made by Indonesians. Among which are the mixed-media creations of Laila

Azra (Jakarta); the whimsical paintings and sculptures of Hendra “Hehe” Harsono (Kediri, East Java); the socially-conscious works of Inge Rijanto (Semarang, Central Java); and the “environmental imageries” of Lugas Syllabus (Bengkulu, South Sumatra).
