Harper's Bazaar Art (Indonesia) - - Exhibition Highlight - Yayoi Kusama

The name “Sotheby’s” has been as­so­ci­ated with the world of art ever since its in­cep­tion in 1744 in Lon­don, spe­cial­iz­ing in fine art auc­tions (which to­day can be done on­line through their Bid­now fea­ture). Amongst the his­tor­i­cally sig­nif­i­cant art­work they have been en­trusted to han­dle were, among oth­ers, Rem­brandt’s Aris­to­tle Con­tem­plat­ing the Bust of Homer and Pi­casso’s Gar­con a la Pipe. They are cur­rently op­er­at­ing in 40 coun­tries, with ma­jor auc­tion houses lo­cated in New York, Lon­don, Hong Kong, and Paris. They also have rep­re­sen­ta­tive of­fices in Shang­hai and Bei­jing, and has been hold­ing reg­u­lar ex­hi­bi­tions in China. Their scope is global and their on-sale auc­tion now ranges to mod­ern and con­tem­po­rary South­east
