Maya Ubud Resort & Spa
GRAND NIKKO BALI boasts the whole bundle of Bali with private access to Serenity Beach. The property has recently undergone upgrades and improvements as part of their multi-million dollar project that began in 2006. The new name Grand Nikko Bali reflects the new 19 luxury villas with private swimming pools, a multi-purpose event space and a wedding ceremony gazebo.
Villa guests can enjoy breakfast or afternoon tea at the new Villa Lounge, centrally-located among the villas, where check-in/checkout services will also be provided. In addition, villa guests will have access to the Nikko Club Lounge, an exclusive lounge for Club-floor guests in the hotel’s main building.
The new wedding gazebo, Kamita, meaning love in Sanskrit, is located on the property’s grounds surrounded by Bali’s natural beauty. It holds up to 30 people.
Throughout the project, 389 rooms were refurbished and four different room types - Nikko Club, Nikko Family Room, Nikko Family Suite, and Seventh Heaven Room - were added. Nikko Family Rooms can comfortably accommodate two adults and two children under 12 years old, while Nikko Family Suites are more spacious and feature connecting rooms.
The 14 Seventh Heaven rooms located on the seventh level were designed especially for a romantic retreat. Couples are pampered with a host of in-room amenities including a romantic dinner, special Mandara Spa treatments, floral bath, organic designer toiletries, daily complimentary chocolate pralines, signature gift set and privileged entry to the Grand Nikko Club Lounge.
The highlight of the property is the Wiwaha chapel, a cliff-top wedding venue. The split-level glass structure is completed in a contemporary design, offers a sweeping 180-degree view of the Indian Ocean. It is now a top wedding venue choice in Bali.
