THE SHORE IS A CONTEMPORARY DINING venue with inspiring views over the Indian Ocean. Designed to architecturally complement some of the Grand Nikko’s newer facilities, such as Nikko Club and Wiwaha Wedding Chapel, The Shore is visually a modern interpretation of a boat on stilts.

Within a multi-level structure embracing its own stretch of white sand beach, The Shore incorporates several distinct dining concepts that evolve during the course of the day. From mid morning onwards the restaurant serves a casual yet extensive menu of lunch items and beverages as guests soak up the sun around the pool or on the beach. Thirsts are also quenched at a fully stocked sunken bar featuring a flat screen TV.

While a beach bar orientated towards the horizon specialises in fresh juices and exotic cocktails.

The Shore at sunset becomes a cool spot to lounge on cushioned sofas and chill out on the front terrace. A decadent Champagne Bar, serving fresh oysters and other tasty morsels, also swings into action in the twilight hours. Guests are invited to unwind and take pleasure in some well-deserved luxury.

As evening descends The Shore’s second level opens its doors for a more refined dining experience with an emphasis on fine food. Air-condition for comfort, this glassenclosed environment is a setting of modern sophistication. Dinner at The Shore promises a balanced composition of quality seafood, imported meats along with gourmet combinations.

An exclusive collection of some of the best old and new world wines has been sourced especially for The Shore. Labels include Château Latour and Château Haut-Brion champagne.

The top timber deck has been designed as an intimate niche to catch the breeze and savour late night cocktails and tapas under the stars. Perfect for intimate gatherings and private celebrations, this space endorses Bali’s laid-back tropical lifestyle.
