Melia Bali Restaurants
AWARD WINNING HATTEN WINES recently opened the new Welcome Center and Observation Deck in the village of Sanggalagit, Buleleng. Originally started in 2001 with several properties spread along the coastal road from Seririt to Pemuteran, this 14 hectare vineyard is part of the 35 hectares the company owns and manages on the North Coast of Bali.
The architecture of the buildings is a statement of the new Hatten Wines celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2014. The buildings bring a bit of color in the greenery of the vineyards and stand as a reminder of the modern approach Hatten Wines has to its winemaking and its products.
The Welcome Center is an inviting small structure where a prominent tasting
bar, lounging sofas and all glass walls invite to the enjoyment of the wine whilst admiring the vines. Planted in different stages, the surrounding vines explain their different growth stages and guests can witness the lifespan of a cycle at anytime of the year. This unique feature allows amateurs to understand the growth process while trying the wines served at the Welcome Center.
It has become a new attraction in North Bali, promoting its beauty and the richness of the North Coast. Fantastic picnic experience, wedding photo venue or company outing the Observation Deck is stunning in shape and color and offers a great time to all guests.
Founded in 1994 by Ida Bagus RaiBudarsa, the first and only true Balinese winery, Hatten Wines brings a taste of Bali to hotels and restaurants tables all over Indonesia.
