the people

What I love most about Bali are the people. They understand that life is a game and they play it with love, wisdom, and beautiful smiles on their faces.

nature

I adore the deep green of the rice fields at the side of the roads. Wherever the ride takes you on the island, your eyes always feel like they’re being gently caressed. It is quite sad that this beauty is constantly making way for the construction of villas.

the cuisine

I love the variety of amazing food throughout the island! The Indo-Asian-Western mix you can find in Bali is definitely something unique, and great on the palate.

hidden gems

I’m a traveller through and through. I love to get lost and explore the amazing landscapes of the world. Taking the bike for a ride without any specific destination in mind is one of my favourite things to do. It’s always fun to just pop up in a place that you’ve never been to before. Plus in Bali it’s not difficult to catch a marvellous sunset!

samadhi bali

One of my favourite places in the neighbourhood is Samadhi Bali, a stunning yoga studio on Echo Beach. They have a restaurant with fresh veggie options, perfect for breakfast or lunch. Plus every Sunday morning the local farmers bring in their goods for the Organic Market.
