Mirror Club ( Jl. Petitenget no. 16, Seminyak, T: +62 361 8499 799) This grand cathedral-like club is a place you ought to attend religiously here in Bali, especially since it throws the most exciting parties on the island. What you should make sure not to miss is the Dolce and Banana event.

Held at the beginning of each month, Dolce and Banana celebrates the LGBT community in Bali. So expect festive costumes, majestic drag queens and flamboyance at its best. Whether you’re part of the LGBT community or not, you should definitely check out Dolce and Banana nights, and let the merriment sweep you away.

Hu’u Bar ( Jl. Petitenget, Seminyak, T: +62 361 473 6576, huubali.com) Hu’u Bar is perhaps the longreigning monarch of nightlife establishments in Bali, having been around since 2001, though after 14 years, the nightclub has been through a lot of changes and facelifts.

Its most recent innovation is the new club night called Sweatshop – dedicated to hip-hop, R’n’B, funk, soul, and everything else in between old skool and new skool. So come and get ready to Dougie every Thursday from 9pm to 2am.
