Prob­a­bly the youngest na­tion to ex­ploit its cof­fee farm­ing po­ten­tial, Zam­bia only started to grow cof­fee in the 1940s, af­ter mis­sion­ar­ies brought in work­ers from Tan­za­nia and Kenya. But it wasn’t un­til the 1980s that it be­came a global busi­ness. One of the country’s most sought-af­ter prod­ucts is the Bour­bon ara­bica.
