Pull­man Jakarta’s Cook­book Of­fers De­li­cious Ways to Cel­e­brate Earth Day

To cel­e­brate Earth Day on April 22 Pull­man Jakarta launched a cook­book en­cour­ag­ing a healthy diet. In line with the ‘Planet 21 Day’ pro­gramme, the five- star ho­tel fo­cuses on sus­tain­abil­ity by com­bat­ing food waste through the cre­ation of an ur­ban veg­etable garden.

The cook­book fea­tures 20 recipes pro­mot­ing healthy in­gre­di­ents and re­spon­si­ble cook­ing meth­ods. The recipes rely on real, un­pro­cessed food and or­ganic veg­eta­bles. The dig­i­tal cook­book can be found via the Pull­man Jakarta web­site or down­loaded di­rectly to mo­bile de­vices for in­stant ac­cess. The recipes are in­spired by dishes from the Pull­man's own Sana Sini Restau­rant.

Jamie Faus, Gen­eral Man­ager at Pull­man Jakarta In­done­sia, said the ho­tel is de­ter­mined to achieve a sus­tain­able en­vi­ron­ment.

"The Earth needs our gen­uine pro­tec­tion and care. On this ob­ser­vance of Earth Day, we stand hand in hand with the Ac­corHo­tels Group. We hope this in­spires ev­ery­one to take a stand and join the move­ment," Faus said in a press state­ment.
