Ubud Food Fes­ti­val 12 – 14 May 2017

The Ubud Food Fes­ti­val ( UFF) is back this year with the theme ‘ Ever y F lavour Is A Stor y’. Re­turn­ing for the third time this year, UFF will be pre­sent­ing the ar­chi­pel­ago’s most cel­e­brated chefs, restau­ra­teurs, pro­fes­sional food en­thu­si­ast and food ad­dicts alike. The fes­ti­val will also be welcoming a se­ries of lo­cal and in­ter­na­tional culi­nary ex­perts, in­clud­ing Ta­sia and Gra­cia Seger from Aus­tralia; the jun­gle chef Charles Toto and raw food spe­cial­ist Arif Springs from In­done­sia. the fes­ti­val will bring an ar­ray of Asian flavours to some of Seminyak and Sa­nur’s most ex­otic din­ing des­ti­na­tions. Bali­nale In­ter­na­tional Film Fes­ti­val Bali

24 – 30 Septem­ber 2017

This year, the Bali In­ter­na­tional Film Fes­ti­val, also known as Bali­nale, is back with more ex­cit­ing cul­tural pro­grammes. The in­ter­na­tional fes­ti­val wi ll con­tinue to forge re­la­tion­ships be­tween coun­tries through art, film and sto­ry­telling. Since its in­cep­tion in 2007, Bali­nale has sought to raise aware­ness about art and f i lm among lo­cal and in­ter­na­tional com­mu­ni­ties, through pro­grammes like school vis­its, free open air cin­ema, work­shops and more. More im­por­tantly, the non­profit foun­da­tion aims to pro­mote In­done­sian cin­ema with the help of pro­fes­sional work­ers in the film in­dus­try and even in­ter­na­tional award- win­ning film­mak­ers. Bali Arts Fes­ti­val 20 – 31 May 2017

Bali Arts Fes­ti­val in­vites lo­cal and in­ter­na­tional tourists, as well as arts en­thu­si­asts to cap­ture the is­land of Gods’ cul­tural high­lights. In its 38th an­niver­sary, the Bali Arts Fes­ti­val is held with the theme 'Pa­suk We­tun­ing Bhuwana,' which trans­lates to 'Main­tain­ing Univer­sal Bal­ance and Syn­ergy.' The an­nual fes­ti­val al­lows vis­i­tors to wit­ness unique art­works, sculp­tures and art ex­hi­bi­tions. The fes­ti­val of­fers vis­i­tors open stages, au­di­to­ri­ums a nd out­door pav i l ions for per­for­mances, in­clud­ing tra­di­tional and con­tem­po­rary dance, shadow pup­petry, mu­sic com­po­si­tions and youth com­pe­ti­tions.
