Dapur Babah is one of Jakarta’s most impressive and charming dining places. Set in refurbished 1940s’ shop houses on Veteran Street, Dapur Babah boasts an interior filled with unique antique treasures—from Chinese artefacts to portraits of the prominent Babah family.
We would definitely come back for more, as we love the food and its meticulous setting, reminding us of the olden days. Have Nasi Campur Babah, consisting of crispy fried shrimp, marinated grated coconut, and a soybean cake in ketjap sauce. Try also the Nasi Gurih Bebek. We love its Tjiwie Mie Malang.
