Housed at The Hermitage, arguably the most luxurious boutique hotel in town, L’avenue serves a variety of French fare, cooked using Indonesian ingredients and perfected with molecular techniques.
An extensive list of wines is available. But if you are more into cocktails, try some of L’avenue’s signature drinks, such as Maiden Kiss, Vojito Cider, and Tropical Hermitage. Saumon de Tasmanie Fumé Maison (gf), best paired with Bernard Magrez Oustric, Sauvignon Blanc (2012). Try also Langouste Grillée— grilled lobster tail, black risotto, and coconut and lemongrass foam. Sauvage Gâteau de Forêt, a combination of wild forest chocolate mousse cake and basil sorbet.
