We would like to present something different, compared to other hotels and resorts in Bali. Our new apartments will feature a more modern or contemporary look, instead of the conventional tropical concept,” says John Spence, the Chairman of Karma Kandara, to Indonesia Tatler Homes. Located in the Ungasan area in Bali, Karma Kandara is famous for their heavenly atmosphere due to the amazing surrounding landscape. Voted as Asia’s Best Beach Resort in 2014 by the World Traveller, Karma Kandara always has something new on offer. Right now it is a new project, their luxurious apartment units, that is taking center stage.

The project, which should be completed within the next two years, initiated from the demand of mostly international clients, whom are anxious to own their own private abode during their vacation in Bali. For the apartment project, Karma Kandara collaborated with Woods Bagot, the London based architecture and design consultant. “I was really impressed with the team of designers,” Spence told Indonesia Tatler Homes during a private interview.

The apartment will feature a modern design concept combined with the powerful expression of artisan craftsmanship. In total there will be 40 apartment units; consisting of 10 studio apartments, 22 one-bedroom apartments and 7 two- bedroom apartments. All the units will be sited in the vicinity to form a private complex. The contemporary apartments will be built using only the highest international quality materials. The interiors, with its spacious layouts, will be completed featuring a spellbinding audiovisual concept including surround sound stereo. The modernity will be balanced with a natural theme and furnishings that creates a luxurious homey atmosphere. Each unit will sport a modern kitchen with only the best kitchen appliances, comfortable king or queen size beds and a spa concept bathroom.

Karma Kandara’s apartments promise to provide you with an unforgettable experience when travelling to Bali. In their care and comfort you are ensured of experiencing only the best of what Bali has to offer. The luxurious concept, created by combining modernity with luxury, welcomes you to own a second home in Bali where you can enjoy a private retreat while on holiday.
