Urban Rustic

Edo Santoso, owner of Casaka

Indonesia Tatler Homes - - PERSONAL TASTE -

His communications and visual design education and background were not a barrier to Edo Santoso when he started his career in the furniture design industry. It all began with his love of wood, especially local wood. When he sat down with Indonesia Tatler Homes, he described his business as both a passion and a love, and he’s been working in the field for seven years now. As the owner of interior brand, he regularly holds events and launches new product series, while his plans also include opening new showrooms, as well as expanding with local and international partners. Santoso describes his personal style as urban, rustic and industrial, and similar to that of his personal heroes, Japanese designer Takashi Sugimoto from Super Potato and Italian designer Pininfarina.
