Berlin-based design studio BORGMAN | LENK has designed and placed a huge faux rock installation inside the Monastery Church Grimma in Leipzig, Germany, which is staggering 580 years old. Artists Anna Borgman and Candy Lenk used wood and paper to construct the 4-metre-diameter rock, which hangs by a 13-metre-long steel cable. Entitled “Wurf II”, which means “throw” in German, the imitation stone is a study of the relationship between materials, space and perspective.
