Hanami

Indonesia Tatler Society - - DIARY -

Japan is transformed each year as the sakura (pink cherry blossoms) explode into view. The Imperial Palace in Tokyo, surrounded by hundreds of flowering trees, is one of the best places for hanami, the traditional custom of “flower viewing.” Take a rowing boat to glide past the spectacle. The phenomenon takes place from late March until early May.
