Mr Bartolomeus Christopher Ekajaya and Ms Christilia Angelica Widjaja hosted a wedding reception at the grand ballroom of The Ritz-carlton Pacific Place, Jakarta. The bride was seen in a stunning white gown made of silk and lace, while the groom in a formal black tuxedo. The groom’s parents, Mr Chandra Ekajaya and Mrs Treesje Perwata, along with the bride’s parents, Mr Fenny Widjaja and Mrs Tan Siew Choon, were seen mingling with their close friends and family while ensuring that they were comfortable and were having a splendid time. Both of the celebrants’ mothers wore colour-coordinated blue gowns that were designed differently, whereas their fathers wore matching black tuxedos. The family’s stunning attire complemented the stage that was adorned with yellow and purple flowers, which symbolise happiness and tradition, respectively. The ballroom was transformed into a fairytale-inspired reception venue, as guests enjoyed a seated dinner setting. Guests were seen feasting on the traditional as well as western dishes prepared for the evening. Friends and relatives of the couple had also flown in from around the country and abroad to attend this festive occassion. The elegance of the evening was appreciated by the guests who had attended this festive occasion. Among those invited were Mr and Mrs Fofo Sariaatmadja, General Moeldoko, Mr Tan Kian, Mr and Mrs Luhut Pandjaitan and Mr and Mrs Raam Punjabi. Guests left the venue with much gratitude for the respect and care they were provided with throughout the evening.
