Aimee Dawis is a pro­lific writer, re­searcher and ed­u­ca­tor. She pur­sued her Bach­e­lor’s de­gree in Loy­ola Mary­mount Univer­sity, Los An­ge­les, and got ad­mit­ted to Cor­nell Univer­sity in Ithaca, New York, where she com­pleted her Master’s de­gree in Com­mu­ni­ca­tion. Aimee grad­u­ated summa cum laude from New York Univer­sity’s doc­toral pro­gramme in Media Ecol­ogy. One of her pop­u­lar books is “Por­traits of In­spir­ing Chi­ne­seIn­done­sian Women” pub­lished by PT Gra­me­dia in 2012. In 2015, Aimee Dawis is pre­par­ing her new book which dis­cusses var­i­ous cul­tures and other as­pects of the lives of Chi­nese des­cents liv­ing in In­done­sia.
