Aksa Mah­mud, born in Barru, South Su­lawesi, on July 16, 1945, is a suc­cess­ful en­tre­pre­neur and politi­cian. He founded Group Bosowa in 1968, a con­glom­er­ate with busi­nesses that in­clude au­to­mo­tive, ce­ment, prop­erty, min­ing, trans­porta­tion, fi­nan­cial in­sti­tu­tions and mul­ti­me­dia. Aksa Mah­mud is also ac­tive in pol­i­tics: he was Deputy Speaker of MPR (the Peo­ple’s Con­sul­ta­tive As­sem­bly) for the 2004-2009 pe­riod. Aksa Mah­mud at­tended the Elec­tri­cal En­gi­neer­ing Fac­ulty at Univer­sity of Has­sanudin, Makas­sar. He is also ac­tive in the so­cial or­gan­i­sa­tion, the Bosowa Foun­da­tion.
