Retno Lestari Priansari Marsudi
Retno Lestari Priansari Marsudi was born in Semarang on November 27, 1962. She is currently Minister of Foreign Affairs, the first woman to have held the position in the country. This senior diplomat has built her career in the government since 1986. She was Indonesian Ambassador to The Netherlands in 2012 and Indonesian Ambassador to Norway and Iceland in 2005. Retno Lestari Priansari Marsudi earned her Master’s degree in law at Haagse Hogeschool in The Netherlands. She is married to architect Agus Marsudi and the couple has two children, Dyota and Bagas.
