Sudirman Said

Sudirman Said, born in Brebes, Cen­tral Java, on April 16, 1963, is Min­is­ter of En­ergy and Re­sources in the cur­rent cab­i­net. Pre­vi­ously, Sudirman Said was known as an anti-cor­rup­tion ac­tivist and a mem­ber of the Masyarakat Tanpa Korupsi or­gan­i­sa­tion (Cor­rup­tion Free So­ci­ety). He was also an ex­ec­u­tive in oil and gas re­sources and was Pres­i­dent Di­rec­tor of PT Pin­dad, the na­tional weapons man­u­fac­tur­ing com­pany. Sudirman grad­u­ated from the State Ac­count­ing In­sti­tute in 1990 and earned his MBA from Ge­orge Wash­ing­ton Univer­sity in the US in 1994.
