With 16 years of experience working in the hospitality industry, Pullman Bali Legian Nirwana’s General Manager Franck Loison is on a roll. Shortly after graduating from hotel management schools in Lausanne and Paris in 1995, he straight flew to Asia to strain every nerve and has lived in the continent ever since. From being an assistant to the F&B manager in Novotel Lotus Bangkok, Thailand, to serving as the director of F&B at the famous Sofitel Royal Angkor in Cambodia, Franck ensured his success every step of the way. His career spans across large hotels in the Southeast Asian region, mainly under the Accor Group, and he knew from the start that his chosen path would be fulfilling. The Accor Group has trusted him to lead its beachfront resort in Legian, Pullman Bali Legian Nirwana, since August 2013. A 351-room paradise— tucked into the sandy Kuta Beach, with walkingdistance access to the heart of Kuta, including to the iconic Beachwalk Shopping Center, Pullman Bali Legian Nirwana targets all kinds of discerning travellers, from families to honeymooners. Leisure five-star facilities are a given there, featuring, among others, a rooftop infinity pool commanding the views of the Indian Ocean, a stylish swimming pool ringed with a manicured garden, and a super-fun kid’s pool. In addition, guests can also treat themselves to a wide variety of treatments at the signature The Tjakra-7 Spa, which features a hydro vitality pool to balance their yin and yang. In the dining section, the hotel boasts the much talked-about Sembilan restaurant, which is famed for its myriad options of Indonesian and Balinese food made of 100 per cent local and the freshest produce. Through Franck’s lenses, repeat guests opt for Pullman Bali Legian Nirwana because the hotel guarantees an indelible experience, for the brands Pullman and Accor Group are synonymous with impeccable service and special offers, one of which, for instance, is the “Discover Bali Lombok Campaign”, valid for stays between March and October 2015. The attractive package, Franck explained, pampers guests with airport pickup; breakfast for up to two persons; wi-fi access; and a four-hour tour to cultural landmarks on the island of the gods. Moreover, Franck also added that an integrated commercial area, which will be speckled with retail stores, dining and drinking haunts, and bookstores, is slated for launch by the end of this year, as part of the hotel’s expansion plan. “It’s our responsibility to ensure that our guests’ stays are memorable. To maintain quality assurance, we regularly hold meetings to evaluate our service by trying to meet our guests’ needs and demands,” Franck said, adding that his team takes into consideration their feedback carefully to improve service. “Last but not least, Australian-british Philip Walker will be joining us as the Executive Chef overseeing all of our dining establishments. You’re more than welcome to experiencing our hospitality at its best.”
