Couture Abuse

A junior designer uses the word “couture” in his label without knowing what the term entails. To have the word attached to a fashion house, a designer must be a member of the prestigious Paris-based “Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture”. No wonder senior designers now frown at him.

Worthy Sacrifice

A socialite looks so emaciated that people start assuming she might have had an eating disorder. When asked why she lost so much weight, she said with a big smile, “I have to be on the cover of a magazine this month, and I can’t afford to look BIG.”

Fashion Frenzy

A social climber who’s always spotted in redcarpet events always looks stunning in elegant gowns. But only a few of us know that she still has a lot of overdue bills to pay for the designer dresses.
