This year’s ART STAGE Jakarta emerged better and stronger in its second edition
All about ART STAGE Jakarta, a lively runway and a pretty wedding
From admiring antiquities at the Museum of Fine Arts and Ceramics in Jakarta’s Old Town area to complimenting contemporaries at the ROH Projects in the central business district, the ART STAGE Jakarta Week took art lovers
exploring the city’s cultures from August 7 to 13. At the centre of it all was the Fair at the Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City hotel. Opened from August 11 to 13, the ribbon-cutting ceremony included ART STAGE President and VicePresident Lorenzo and Maria Elena Rudolf, Ann Delny, Mobiliari Group’s President Director of Panggung Seni Rupa Indonesia and Mobiliari Eksibisi Andalan, and the Chairman of Gandaria City Alexander Tedja, among many others. This year saw 24 local galleries and 36 international galleries—plus a number of urban artists from Europe and Southeast Asia.
