From ad­mir­ing an­tiq­ui­ties at the Mu­seum of Fine Arts and Ce­ram­ics in Jakarta’s Old Town area to com­pli­ment­ing con­tem­po­raries at the ROH Projects in the cen­tral busi­ness district, the ART STAGE Jakarta Week took art lovers

ex­plor­ing the city’s cul­tures from Au­gust 7 to 13. At the cen­tre of it all was the Fair at the Sher­a­ton Grand Jakarta Gan­daria City ho­tel. Opened from Au­gust 11 to 13, the rib­bon-cut­ting cer­e­mony in­cluded ART STAGE Pres­i­dent and Vi­cePres­i­dent Lorenzo and Maria Elena Ru­dolf, Ann Delny, Mo­bil­iari Group’s Pres­i­dent Di­rec­tor of Pang­gung Seni Rupa In­done­sia and Mo­bil­iari Ek­si­bisi An­dalan, and the Chair­man of Gan­daria City Alexan­der Tedja, among many oth­ers. This year saw 24 lo­cal gal­leries and 36 in­ter­na­tional gal­leries—plus a num­ber of ur­ban artists from Europe and South­east Asia.
