On an island where large franchise hotels are taking over lands here and there, this place defies all odds by simply bringing old time memories. It starts from the facade, that folksy combination of wooden door and windowsills, exposed mouldy red brick wall, some overgrown greens that hang all over, crummy looking roof tiles, and a classic beetle Volkswagen parked in front – everything feels like visiting our parents’ childhood home. Inside, the vintage village feel is elevated, where the walls outside the rooms are white clean accompanied by iron-cast railings. This village-inspired theme continues to their warm and loving 16 rooms, like a vintage bedstead with colourful weaved cover, a framed tinted glass bathroom door, and copper sink and bathtub. Bottom line is that this place is too beautiful, I have just used all the words I have to write about it. Now to end my day, a rest here would be perfect.
