When­ever I go to a new res­tau­rant, one of the first things I do is have a quick glance at the other peo­ple sit­ting nearby. This is to gauge the pre­sen­ta­tion of the food, and also to get a rough idea of which dishes are pop­u­lar. But use this tip with cau­tion. You don’t want to get caught star­ing at some­one for too long!
