omodo na­tional park is one of in­done­sia’s na­tional parks, es­tab­lished in 1980 and con­sist­ing of three larger is­lands: Ko­modo, Rinca and Padar, plus few small is­lands. The park has also be­come more fa­mous since 2013 as one of the new Seven Won­ders of the World. Many peo­ple come to see the last di­nosaur-like creature on earth known as the Ko­modo dragon. Its lo­ca­tion on Sape strait – flanked by West Nusa Teng­gara and East Nusa Teng­gara is­lands – means that Ko­modo Na­tional Park com­prises up to 70 per cent ocean.
