Wedding in Paradise

Drawn to the idea of a charming, relaxed clifftop wedding, Charlotte and Louis ventured to the tropical paradise island of the gods with the thousand temples on 2 October 2016.

Wedding Venue: Alila Uluwatu | Wedding Planning and Design: Tiara Wedding ~ HongKong | Photographer: Imaj Gallery | Wedding Dress: Pronovias Bridal & Tony Ward | Veil: Vera Wang | Shoes: Manolo Blahnik & Jimmy Choo | Jewelry: Van Cleef & Arpels | Groom Attire: Simpson Tailors I did not know where to start! As I began the planning of our wedding, I contacted Karen of Tiara because I really liked their design and I like the fact that they pay particular attention to little details.” The weather even cooperated on the big day itself. After a week of continuous rain, Mother Nature decided to put her best foot forward, allowing Charlotte and Loui’s outdoor ceremony to proceed as planned. “The sun shining through the woodsy cabana at the ceremony was absolutely beautiful!” The reception, which boasted an enormous floral chandelier and an elegant floral arrangement of Phalaenopsis, roses and white baby breaths, was quite lively. The volume turned up as The Greeneries played a long list of danceable hits, encouraging everyone to get up and do it on the dancefloor. In the midst of all this loud fun, though, there were quiet sentimental moments, including Louis’ speech. “It earned him tickets out of trouble for an eternity! It was so emotional and heartfelt. As the bride, I felt very proud to call him my husband,” says Charlotte. In her lovely wedding dress, Charlotte also has some awesome advice for other brides and grooms-to-be. “Have fun! It will all get done. And it will probably not cost you more than you expect.”
