Whenever I travel, I love to see old buildings and places that are rich in history. History is one of the most interesting subjects to see and experience. When at these places, my mind will wander off and go back in time. In this edition we take you on a journey to look at some of the most amazing heritage cities in the world that boast beautiful historical sights, buildings and monuments. Experience a wonderful journey to what lies in the past and be prepared to be dazzled by its stories and beauty. Amsterdam, “the Venice of the North”, is a city full of nostalgia, and has something for everyone, from culture and history to serious partying or just the relaxing charm of an old European city. The journey continues to a “Land of Magic and Beauty”: settled in ancient times, Austria is a beautiful land full of historical remains. From this wonderful country, our journey to Salzburg, a city full of inspiration, begins. Not only do we visit a historical city; we also have a little “Taste from The Past” by visiting some of the nostalgic flavours that never go out of date. In this edition we have some new and interesting sections that will take you on some of the most fascinating journeys. We at MAXX-M believe in enjoying a balanced life, which is key to a truly happy life. Unfortunately, many of us unconsciously forget or simply don’t know about that. Even when we do have time, we often don’t know where to go and what to do.We seek but simply don’t know where to start. “Weekend Escape” is the perfect start to a balanced life; it’s where we uncover places for your getaway in Jakarta and beyond. Any avid traveller knows the importance of having “Local Tips”; the best way to travel is to do it like local people in “How To Go”, and in “Inside Secret” we visit spectacular places that only locals know. These places are so beautiful it is hard to believe not many people know about them. I’m sure that each and every one of you has an interesting story to tell, and now’s the chance: starting from this edition, you can have your story featured in MAXX-M. There are two ways to do it: if you’re an avid photographer and believe that pictures speak a thousand words, send us your travel pictures along with a brief commentary, and where they were taken. Lucky readers will have their pictures featured in the “Capture” section of MAXX-M. If you are more into writing, send us your story and if you are lucky, it will be featured in “Travel Story”. For more information, send an email to info@ptmaximillian.com.
