Bridges offers one of the best possible culinary experiences in Ubud, Bali.
Ubud is famous as the cultural centre of Bali. There are many art galleries and workshops, some incredible architecture and picturesque views, as well as the ultimate feeling of well-being to be enjoyed. Today, Ubud is also one of the best places for food. On a business trip to Ubud, I searched for some restaurants and found Bridges. I’d heard that this restaurant offers breathtaking views, excellent food and good service. Bridges is a casual, fine-dining restaurant serving delicacies from Asia and the West. When I arrived, I thought the restaurant was small, but I was wrong. Bridges is on two floors, each of which offers a pleasant atmosphere to relax and chat with a friend or your loved one. There are two ways to enter: The main entrance will take you straight to the casual dining room, and a central spiral stairway will lead you to the upper fine-dining level with higher valley views. The second takes you into the Divine Wine Bar and Shop. I had a pleasant table; Mr. Claude, the owner of Bridges, said that my position was a favourite with guests. I could see Cam- puhan Bridge, hear the relaxing sound of a gurgling river and take in the lush greenery of the valley. It was so romantic and comfortable, but Mr. Claude explained that the atmosphere of the restaurant and the outlook over the river were even more magnificent and romantic at night. I loved the white and light wood hues that dominated the decor, giving Bridges a casual yet luxurious feel. All the food is served with love and was tasty, amazing and well-presented. Bridges is also the only wine bar in Ubud. DIVINE, Bridges’ cellar, is a shop with a wide variety of wines. You can enjoy DIVINE every day at 4-7pm and on Fridays at 4-8pm. If you are in Ubud and looking for a beautiful place with good food, Bridges is the place to be. I am sure you will not be disappointed.
