Sara Djojohadikusumo hosted the inaugural fundraising gala dinner of Parinama Astha foundation on Tuesday, August 15, at the ballroom of Le Meridien Jakarta. The foundation aims to save victims of human trafficking. Sara was joined by her mother, Anie Hashim Djojohadikusumo. Sara gave a warm speech, saluting her team and everyone who supported the fundraiser. The goal of the event was to provide safe houses for trafficking victims. “Our dream is for every province to at least have one safe house,” Sara said.
On a lighter note, entertainers Billy Simpson, Marcell Siahaan, Millane Fernandez and Maruli Tampubolon performed inspirational songs. The highlight of the night was a charity auction, led by Deborah Iskandar, which saw artworks, jewellery, clothing and holiday packages up for grabs.
