Septem­ber 9–10 BEI­JING IN­TER­NA­TIONAL TRIATHLON

Among this year’s par­tic­i­pants are 2016 Olympic bronze medal­list Henri Schoe­man and 2016 ITU World Triathlon Se­ries World Cham­pion Flora Duffy. The route com­prises a 1.5-km swim through Garden Expo Lake, a 40km bike race through the vil­lages of Feng­tai district and up Qian­ling Moun­tain, and a 10-km run through Garden Expo Park.

Septem­ber 14 – Oc­to­ber 1 MEL­BOURNE FRINGE FES­TI­VAL

One of the most ad­ven­tur­ous multi-art­form fes­ti­vals in Aus­tralia is into its 35th year of chal­leng­ing con­ven­tions and cre­at­ing a space for risk-tak­ing. Each year, thou­sands of artists grace more than 400 events staged across over 160 venues be­fore more than 350,000 at­ten­dees.

Septem­ber 30 – Oc­to­ber 3 FINE ART ASIA

The fair presents col­lectible an­tiques, fine art, jew­ellery, time­pieces, de­sign and pho­tog­ra­phy from the East and West to lead­ing deal­ers, col­lec­tors, cu­ra­tors, con­nois­seurs and en­thu­si­asts at the Hong Kong Con­ven­tion and Ex­hi­bi­tion Cen­tre. Last year’s edition hosted more than 6,000 art­works worth HK$3 bil­lion, and drew 22,500 vis­i­tors.
