ERICK SUSANTO BELIEVES that lack of education about the threat of breast cancer is a big problem for the nation. “Because this issue is often overlooked, many young women are neglecting to take early steps to lower their risk,” says the 32-year- old co-founder of The Watch Co. “This leads to more women and families being affected by the disease. People need to acknowledge it and be better informed about it, and how to prevent it. This event with Lovepink brings us one little step closer to making that happen.”
The Watch Co. distributes brands like Casio, Daniel Wellington and Olivia Burton. Susanto joined Heritage Millennials with the aim of developing a stronger network. “This organisation is a group of diverse, energetic and success-driven entrepreneurs,” says the Beijing Language and Culture University graduate. “We are encouraged to become influential millennials that are not driven by money, but by a far greater vision. With this project, the group is boosting the significance of our actions.”
