In the growth zone

INDRA PRIAWAN DJOKOSOETONO is the young entrepreneur behind Maskoolin, a men’s fashion online shop. He joined Maskoolin in 2014, when he was only 23. Entrepreneurship is in his blood, as he is a grandson of the late Mutiara Fatimah Djokosoetono, founder of the Blue Bird logistics and transportation group.

His father was the late Chandra Suharto Djokosoetono, whom Indra describes as his main mentor. “Among the many meaningful things he said to me, one stands out, that there is no growth in a comfort zone, and there is no comfort in a growth zone. I think this advice has helped me to become a better version of myself. “I believe that an entrepreneur needs to be willing to work harder than anyone to become more successful. He or she should always be learning new things, be willing to take risks, build connections, learn from other people’s success stories, and have a balance between work and private life.”

Djokosoetono earned his Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree with honours from University of Indonesia and a Master of International Business from Hult International Business School in San Francisco. He is one of Commissioner of Blue Bird Group. Meanwhile, Maskoolin’s mission is to help men in Indonesia look their best. “We sell a wide selection of men’s products curated from the best local and international brands,” says Djokosoetono. “Our fashion products include dress shirts, polo shirts, shorts, jeans, trousers, mens grooming and suits. In addition Maskoolin sells men’s shoes, watches and other accessories. The male hair care products we offer are also very complete, ranging from the best pomades to moustache and beard grower, male combs and others.”
