“IT WASN’T UNTIL I joined Heritage Millennials that I learned how common breast cancer is,” says 28-year- old fashion entrepreneur Nadia Tjahyadikarta. “Through hearing stories from people around me, I’ve come to understand that this is something that can affect any woman.”

As the co-founder with Guida Arezzi of G+NA, a ready-to-wear clothing line for women, Nadia considers it her responsibility as an entrepreneur to help raise awareness among young women about the risks they face. “It’s one thing for us to make money in business, but it’s even better if we can contribute as much as we can to society,” she says. “I want more people to draw their attention to a cause that is affecting women every day.”

It was Nadia’s long-standing friendship with Tania Nordina, co-founder of Heritage Millennials that led her to join the organisation with Guida. “I’m happy to have met fellow entrepreneurs from various fields and learned from them along the way,” says Nadia, a New York University graduate. “I’m proud to be involved in this initiative because it’s important to be socially responsible and to give back.”
