ORI­GINS

The restau­rant’s ex­quis­ite dishes, dis­tinc­tive at­mos­phere and strong ser­vice tra­di­tion have a long history. The restau­rant was founded in Tampa, Florida, by a group of en­tre­pre­neur­ial restau­ra­teurs. In­spired by the hit movie Croc­o­dile Dundee, they in­fused the Aus­tralian feel into an Amer­i­canstyle restau­rant. In 20 years, the small up­start steak­house lo­cated on Hen­der­son Street in Tampa has grown into an over 1,000-restau­rant strong in­ter­na­tional chain span­ning 23 coun­tries in Amer­ica, Europe, Asia, Aus­tralia and the Mid­dle East.

Best known for its gen­er­ous por­tions of steaks, chicken and seafood, Out­back also of­fers an as­sort­ment of crisp sal­ads as well as freshly made soups and side dishes.
