The Jakarta Post - SPEAK! - - Updates -

Last month, movie and TV series junkies were in rapture over Net ix’s arrival to the country. Now everyone can enjoy the service on smartphones or televisions and have unlimite– and legal–access to the movies and TV series that Net ix offers. However, this may not happen, as reports have been circulating that the American Internet streaming rm might get blocked in Indonesia due to censorship issues.

According to TechInAsia, Indonesia’s lm censorship board has asked the country’s Communications and Information Ministry to block the service. Net ix is known for its controversial content relating to nudity and violence, among other issues. Nevertheless, the nal decision is yet to be made, as the government and other related institutions are still deciding how Net ix will be regulated.
