Paint manufacturer Propan recently cooperated with Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) and the Jakarta administration to organize the painting of poles located across Jl. Casablanca in Kuningan, South Jakarta, to decorate the city ahead of the 2018 Asian Games, which will be hosted in Jakarta and Palembang, South Sumatra.

The mural painting activity seeks to make Jakarta, particularly the hectic area of Jl. Casablanca, more attractive to tourists and athletes who will be in the city for next year’s Games.

“We would like to support Indonesia as the host of the upcoming 2018 Asian Games by painting sport-themed murals,” PT Propan Raya Yuwono Imanto said.

Artists taking part in the activity are students from two vocational schools: SMK 58 Jakarta and SMK 46 Jakarta. The students will be supervised by their teachers.
